0 for 5

Lee's off to the dance for Homecoming. By now those of you (I guess that would be Jill) who called to check know that Lee came up short in the Queen department. But isn't she beautiful? She looks like royalty to us.

Sorry about the picture at the game. Lee is completely covered up by one of the boys. They announced who the king and queen were at half time of the game. It was nice. They all were dressed up and had little kid escorts. One of the boys picked up his little girl escort and danced with her as he was announced. It was cute. She was all smiles.

This is her date, Steven Parkinson. He shaved. I was worried. The last couple of times I had seen him it was scary. He is a nice boy and Lee had a fun day date. They went fishing and then they went up Green's Peak. The boys packed a lunch and when they opened the ice chest the sub sandwiches were under water. Yikes! But they made the most of it by throwing pieces at each other. One landed in Lee's mouth! Tonight they are going to the Chuck Wagon. And then to the dance.

Oh, ya, BR won. They played Camp Verde. Not much of a game. But you should have seen the people. It was really fun. Lots going on as you came in and so many people. This team reminds us of teams of the past. They are ranked #1 in the state right now. The good games start in two weeks. Show Low, Snowflake and RV.

News Flash

Monday 17 Sept 2007

At 5:00 am we had a knock at the door and two Blue Ridge Student Council members asked if they could come in and wake up Lee and take her blindfolded to breakfast to announce her and the other students who were nominated for Homecoming Royalty. No makeup....no brushed teeth.....no time to think about what to wear. They had her wear a T-shirt that said, "Bow To Me". Sorry, no picture.

Woodland Lake YM-YW Standards Night

Dad wanted to know why his picture wasn't being posted as
much as Lee's. Isn't it obvious. It is beauty
and two beasts.....old beasts.

WAR...what is it good for? Absolutely nothing.

This is a fuzzy picture, dang it. If you squint you can see the two ants on the bottom edge of this little card. I am at war with these little sugar ants. This poison is a sticky sugary poison. They have been lapping it up and, I think it is working. The numbers are getting smaller. But this takes patience. I don't like ants.

Since everyone has been talking about potty training, we thought
we would let you know that our baby is potty trained and can
close the door behind herself.

We keep telling Lee to pick up her underwear. Yes, they are clean. This is little Parker. She spent a couple of days with us and I found her in the laundry working hard to cover herself with Lee's underwear.

Blessed September

Lee played in her last Payson Invitational Volleyball Tournament over the Labor Day Weekend. It was a great gathering of good players. This is Lee's silly team. They are so fun. And they are getting with their game. They took second place. We lost to St. Johns. But they were pleased with their play because we didn't think we would go that far but we did. Lee was named MVP. Heidi, who coaches with Tami, said that the coaches voting was unanomous. She did have a good day.
